Members of the public are welcome to attend meetings and a period of ten minutes is set aside at the beginning of each meeting for parishioners to raise matters of concern to them. The rules of debate do not however allow the public to speak outside this period.

The Parish Council Meeting is held on the third Tuesday of each month (except August).

The Annual Meeting of the Parish Council is on the third Tuesday in May, unless it is an election year when it may be earlier.

The Planning Committee meets on the last Tuesday of every month at 7.00 pm (but subject to change). Dates of committee meetings may have to be changed due to unforeseen circumstances. Please contact the clerk on 01590 622829 for confirmation. Occasionally, when discussing matters of a confidential nature, e.g., salaries, wages or commercially sensitive matters, it is necessary to exclude the public and Press, by resolution.

The Annual Parish Meeting of the Village, which is an open meeting for the whole village, is hosted by the Parish Council and held on the fourth Tuesday in April in the Forest Hall at the Village Hall at 7.30 pm.
