Brockenhurst probably has one of the best village rail services in the UK. Fast and frequent mainline services give excellent access to nearby towns and beyond.
The station's unrivalled position in the centre of the New Forest allows visitors to get away from it all and plan a completely car free break in the New Forest. With bike hire points and full transport interchange facilities at the station whether you are biking or walking you are only minutes away from hotels, guest houses, shops and the tranquilly of the Forest itself. Taxis are available at the station until late at night.

Weymouth to London - Waterloo - Fast (every 30 minutes).
Poole to London - Waterloo - Semi Fast (every 60 minutes).
Bournemouth to Birmingham via Reading and Oxford, (hourly) - trains continue to the North or Scotland.
Brockenhurst to Lymington Pier - (every 30 minutes).
All trains stop at Southampton Airport, Southampton Central, Winchester and Bournemouth. By changing at Southampton Central, Portsmouth, Romsey, Salisbury, Bristol, Brighton & Gatwick Airport can be quickly reached.

Brockenhurst to Lymington Pier service runs every 30 minutes until about 9.30pm and until recently featured fully refurbished 1960's "slam-door" electric trains in "Southern" Green and "BR" Blue liveries to travel the 6 miles through timeless New Forest scenery to connect to the ferries to Yarmouth, Isle of Wight. Route 56 Lymington to Southampton - mostly day time service calling at the rail station and village centre. National Express Coaches run daily to London and Heathrow Airport from Waters Green.

Tourist Bus (seasonal)
Daily seasonal circular route from Brockenhurst station - where it will meet train services. Capable or carrying bikes the route takes in more than 25 'official' stops on the tour, including Lyndhurst, Beaulieu, and its' National Motor Museum, Lymington Pier for the IOW ferry terminal. Other stops include the Forestry Commission campsites of Denny Wood, Hollands Wood and Matley Wood, as well as a number of pubs, hotels and B&B's.
